Descripción

The Alfa Laval Vortex Radial Eductor is a high-performance tank mixing eductor. It is designed specifically for challenging tank mixing jobs, for example, involving irregular shaped tanks or liquids with high solids content and is particularly suited to rapid turnover requirements. Cost-effective solution for in-tank mixing
  • Simple, robust design, no moving parts
  • Compact design with no required maintenance
  • Fully homogeneous tank fluid mix
  • Eliminates tank sludge and reduces cleaning time
The Alfa Laval Vortex Radial Eductor consists of a tapered nozzle housed in a uniquely designed body constructed of molded high density, abrasion resistant polyurethane with a fused stainless steel female NPT nut-style connection. Typical installations require one or more mounted on the recirculation piping inside the tank. How it works Fluid is pumped into the Alfa Laval Vortex Radial Eductor inlet where pressure builds at its nozzle. The fluid velocity increases at the nozzle, resulting in a pressure drop and strong vacuum that pulls the surrounding fluid into the eductor body through helical shaped suction ports. These unique suction ports generate a vortex-shaped discharge plume. Basic equipment The Alfa Laval Vortex Radial Eductor consists of a uniquely designed body molded from high density, abrasion resistant polyurethane. A stainless steel female NPT connection is fused to the polyurethane body during the molding process. In a typical application, one or several eductors are mounted on a piping manifold system inside of a pit or vessel. The number and size of eductors required for a specific application is dependent on the vessel size and the necessary agitation rate, sometimes referred to as turnover rate or TOR.
