The Pharma-line shell and tube heat exchanger is designed to operate at pressures up to 10 bar and operating temperatures of 150°C. It is easy to drain and clean and features leakage detection. How it works . The double-tube sheet design of the Pharma-line eliminates the risk of the product mixing with the service (heating or cooling) medium. The product media flows through a bundle of seamless tubes while the service medium flows in a crossflow around the tubes, inside the shell. In the unlikely event of a leak, the either fluid can be easily visually detected. Lifting and mounting devices are welded on the unit for easy installation. You might also be interested in...
